Our Itsuwa branch in Columbus, Indiana has three shifts with a variety of start and end times.  This allows us to be very flexible with placement of candidates who require specific shift start or end times.  Currently, all positions are considered full-time.

Available Positions

Position Title: Quality Engineer/Production Control *Urgently hiring* posted on 3/25/2021

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay:  DOE

Description:​​

  • Prepare and submit PPAP data/documents to customer

  • Respond to customer issued Corrective Action Requests or equivalent (QPR, QIR, etc)

  • Liaise between Itsuwa USA, LLC and the customer for all Quality, Production, Shipping/Receiving, and any other general matter (Excludes Accounting)

  • Oversee Shipping/Receiving for the customer and fill-in when necessary

  • Create, manage, and/or improve MS Excel Applications

  • Communication of any quality issue to the respective customer where applicable

  • Issue internal Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s) when major process failures have occurred or could possibly occur

  • Provide disposition for suspect parts (in conjunction with PC Manager)

  • Record scrap data and send to customer where applicable

  • Scan records to their respective storage location

  • ISO 9001:2015 Management Representative, Internal Auditor, and Document Control Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Experience in Automotive industry

  • Surface Treatment knowledge is a big plus (E-coating, plating, powder coating or relevant )

Education and skill

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Experience

  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Position Title: Factory Associate

Hours: All Shifts (Full-Time)

Pay:  Start at $12.25 - $13.11

Description:

  • Ensures proper loading of parts using correct loading racks

  • Ensures proper silicone is used and parts are properly masked

  • Organizes silicone and tooling

  • Notifies Supervisor of any abnormal conditions of parts

  • Unload parts visually inspect parts

  • Remove any masking

  • Take care of any rework

  • Fill out travelers and other paperwork ensure part numbers, totals and lot numbers are correct

  • Ensure proper packaging

  • Film Thickness Testing, Maintain 5S of work area

  • Other duties as assigned

Description:​​

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by proactively searching for and completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions by attentively monitoring waste water system.

  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

  • Fabricates whatever in needed, whether for maintenance or production and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Delivering maintenance assessment reports to Maintenance Supervisor daily.

  • Provides mechanical maintenance information weekly, by answering questions and requests.

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.

  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment in maintenance area,

  • Comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Contributes to team effort by covering maintenance responsibilities when Supervisor is absent and accomplishing related results as needed.
